Managing Stress and Worry

In these lessons you will be introduced to a variety of strategies for understanding and managing stress and worry.There are twelve strategies to learn and practice. 

Assertiveness

Would you like to be more assertive? This six lesson course will help you find out what assertiveness is and isn’t; we will explore the different elements of assertive behaviours and how to implement them. We also look at the difficulties around saying “no” and how to overcome them. The course is beneficial to those who wish to improve their confidence in everyday life.

Emotional Resilience

The six lessons will help you to understand and manage your own resilience and increase understanding about the resilience of others. You will learn how wellbeing is affected and the positive changes that can be made to improve wellbeing. You will also learn about eating and sleeping well and how mindfulness and relaxation can help your wellbeing.

Together We Talk- Disordered Eating Support

This course intends to support individuals who are experiencing distress around food, weight, shape and body image. 
 
Skills learned from these sessions are adapted from Cognitive Behavioural therapy and compassion focused therapy. 
 
There are 12 sessions in total, not all sessions will be relevant to each person. The sessions should be undertaken alongside a practitioner to help support you and guide you towards your own version of recovery.
