‘Empowering people to better manage their Mental Health and Wellbeing’
Together We Talk provides talking interventions based on evidence for mental and physical health and wellbeing. This may include interventions based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Rewind Trauma Therapy and Person centered Counselling.
We provide intervention to those falling between service gaps. We provide general psychological wellbeing support and work within our professional boundaries and remit. If we identify that another service is better placed to meet your needs, we will help you to access the most appropriate support and make referrals where appropriate.
Together We offer a variety of different sessions/workshops designed to help people understand their symptoms and how to self-manage them.
Support for individuals, families and couples. We deliver services for young people, families and adults that interlink and offer a wide range of theraputic modalities.
We welcome and support anyone experiencing difficulties with their mental, physical, or emotional health and wellbeing. Where your needs are best met by another service, we will support you to access the most appropriate care and make referrals where appropriate.
We provide a range of support delivered online, face to face, and through SMS and email. Further information is below.

Referral Timeline
Referral received
Once we have received your referral it will be initially reviewed for completeness by admin, if information is missing we may be unable to process it. If this happens we will contact you.
Clinical screening
During this stage, our clinical team will review if you are appropriate for the service. If we are not the most suitable service, we will contact you to advise who would be best.
Screening Assessment Booked
You will be contacted following screening by an admin who will gather any further details and book you in for a screening assessment.
Screening Assessment
One of our practitioners will undertake a collaborative assessment with you to understand your challenges, goals and help identify which pathway in Together We is most suitable. During this assessment you may be advised that other services are more suitable, if this is the case we will support with an onward referral.
Allocation to treatment
During this stage, you will be allocated to the correct treatment pathway. This may be with our Talk or Recovery service.
Treatment Complete
Most people in Together We undertake 12 sessions of one-to-one support, but you may also be recommended to enter specific recovery college sessions and referred to other practitioners with different specialties.
How to refer
We accept referrals from all sources, self-referral, GP or other Professional and other.
Referrals can be made via our referral form, via phone 0808 196 1773 (please see opening hours below) or email to referral@togetherwe.uk
Due to the significant increase in demand for our service and the current number of individuals on our waiting list, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily pause the acceptance of new referrals.
At present, our priority is to ensure that those already waiting receive safe, effective, and timely support.
The volume of referrals has reached a level were continuing to accept new cases would impact the quality and responsiveness of the service we provide.
We fully understand that this may cause inconvenience and concern, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support during this time.
This decision has not been taken lightly, and we are actively working on a plan to review capacity, improve processes, and explore additional resources.
If you are sending referrals via the following pathways these will still be accepted and processed:
- Thriving After Tackling Trauma
- Disordered Eating
- PAC- Maternal Wellbeing Pathway
- Waiting Well
- CAMHS Hub
All other Referrals will remain closed from 19/6/2026, and we will keep you updated with any changes, including when we are able to safely reopen referral pathways.
However, our Recovery College services remain open and are continuing to accept applications.
This service offers free courses, workshops, and support—all designed to promote mental health and wellbeing.
