Together We CIC was founded by Samantha Joughin and Janine Ward in 2017. The not-for-profit business now operates four core community services for wellbeing:

Together We operates 4 main parts; Talk, Fitness, Carry and Recovery/Discovery.

Providing Wellbeing support for expecting and new families, including tools such as sling hire and psychoeducational sessions for keeping well as a new parent.

One to one and small group talking therapies. Delivering multi-modal mental health support, which is client centered, in Cumbria.

One to one and small group exercise sessions with a focus on improving mental health and physical wellbeing.

Delivering a range of different courses across Cumbria which aim to support a person’s recovery from mental health difficulties through learning and education.

Your journey starts once being referred or self-referring to Together We. We are proud to offer client centered assessments that focus on your mental and physical health and wellbeing needs. This means we listen to your needs and find one of our services that are for you.

The focus of our journey is to empower you to better manage your physical and mental health and wellbeing. We cover six key areas of your health. 

Managing Wellbeing

Managing symptoms physical and mental, emotional regulation and building resilience. 

Making Changes

Identifying practical problem solving to enable you to overcome your problems. 

Sleeping Well

Engaging interventions to enable better sleep. We know sleep is a key component to functioning. Good sleep helps improve physical and mental health and wellbeing. 

Eating Well

Interventions to enable you to manage your nutritional intake. Eating well and taking in the right fluid levels help us to feel well. 

Relaxation and Mindfulness

Interventions that help us to be mindful and relaxed enable us to regulate emotions. This can help to build resilience, enable people to problem solve more effectively and bring peace. 

Moving Forward

Moving Forward focuses on your recovery journey. Recovery from mental health and physical wellbeing means different things to different people. It is widely accepted that recovery comes with the need to live with symptoms however, periods of ill health become much more manageable. Together We empower you to feel hope, live a meaningful life and better manage your symptoms.
